Yesterday I had the privileged to spend the evening with Adam and Steve at the beautiful Henry Ford mansion. Despite the gloomy day, we had a fun time and ended with some pictures I was very pleased with. I always enjoy my time with these boys and would be more than happy to do it again!
I am certainly a sucker for Detroit. Such a beautiful city with such a bad reputation. My brother called me home to participate in an engagement session he thought I would enjoy. Of course I am down for any opportunity to take some pictures. Here are a couple..
One of the most beautiful weddings taken place in Downtown Ann Arbor at the Michigan Theater. Dan and Jarida are just adorable. This past weekend was one to remember. Reminds me of just how much I love these weddings and I cannot wait for the next one.
This wedding ended up to be quite the adventure. Northern Michigan at a golf resort in the middle of no where. I definitely will not for get it. Not as many pictures to show for this one. I kind of sat back and let big brother do most of the work while i enjoyed the festivities. This one was one of my favorites, for sure.
It was definitely a change of pace from Kevin and Mickey's Ice cold Detroit esession to a beautiful summer wedding. Kevin and Mickey were fun to work with. The wedding was beautiful and the delicious lemon cake tops the list for sure! ng
This was my hot summer wedding for the year. Hot, but gorgeous day. It was a good change of pace. Lots of family and a tea ceremony. All in all a beautiful day. Oh and do not forget all those adorable babies. I will admit that I thought about leaving with one.
I have had an artistic eye for as long as I can remember. And for a while now I have really enjoyed playing with a camera. I started out like most with my little Canon digital camera taking pictures of everything. I soon realized that it was not enough for me.
My brother noticed my interest in photography and offered a position as an "assistant" with his weddings. Immediately I was extremely intimidated. With no previous knowledge, I was doomed.
I have been his assistant now for almost a year and I love everything about it. I have learned way more than I have ever expected and I hope to do my own wedding photography one day.
So here I am now, trying to get my name out. So, please enjoy my pictures. And do not forget, I owe all the credit to my teacher, my partner, my big brother, Adam Sparkes.
